Fashion Designer // Pattern Maker // Technical Designer

Kristine Amarillo Ponce is a Los Angeles based fashion designer. Her passion stems from her love of clothes. The process of how a garment is made greatly intrigued her, and that curiosity and passion led her path to understand both the creative and technical aspects of fashion.

Kristine’s career began as a professional pattern maker where she was able to hone her technical expertise. With a keen eye, immense tenacity, and a zealous spirit, Kristine was able to propel her career forward. She quickly gained a high level of respect for her exquisite craftsmanship. Using these skills, Kristine was able to bring her own vision to life. Kristine hopes to empower the everyday woman to embrace her femininity while redesigning the ideal structure of today’s women’s wear.

She established her own clothing line, Tale for Esther from 2014-2021, the collection spanned from Special Occasion gowns and elegant evening attire, to bold luxurious Ready-to-Wear separates.

Kristine is a graduate in Fashion Design and BS in Business Management at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM). She currently works as a Technical Coordinator/Designer in one of Southern California’s major apparel company.
